Ramp addition at St. Joseph's school
A glimpse of recently completed new compliant accessible ramp at St. Joseph's school, delivering a safer and more inclusive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
The newly constructed 1:14 gradient ramp features steel handrails on both sides with 180° end return, tactile ground surface indicators (TGSIs) at the base, and a smooth concrete finish — all designed and built to meet AS 1428.1 Accessibility Standards.
This infrastructure investment reflects ongoing commitment to universal design and ensuring equitable access across all areas of the school campus.
